Artist's Comments
This is a dog-person doll named Ziggy. He's based on a Chihuahua of the same name (hence the enormous eyes). Ziggy was originally meant to be an experiment in ball jointing, but as I had no clue what I was doing, failed miserably. I salvaged his hands and feet and crocheted arms and legs for him. His body, hands, and feet are made of Super Sculpey, and he is painted with acrylic paints. His shirt and vest are hand sewn, and my poor sewing skills are evident. Ziggy's ears are made of chamois, and his earring is made from wire and a bead. I'm quite happy with him.
